While in dental school at UF, Dr. Alvarez went on a number of international dental mission trips and participated in numerous dental research studies. Originally from Miami, Dr. Alvarez was born and raised in a large Cuban-American family. He is thankful for his family and his fluency in Spanish. He is very excited to be back in Orlando serving the community he loves and knows from his years at UCF. In his downtime, he enjoys traveling and experiencing new cultures; but he enjoys spending time with his family, friends and his King Charles Cavalier spaniel “Bruce” the most.
